Hairbraiding Styles? Pics?

I am debating on having my DD-6, getting her hair braided on the ship. I read the price was something like $1 a braid, very reasonable.

I was wondering if people had this in styles other than the
Bo-Deresk look of all corn rows, or even the cornrows up to the crown.

My concern is my DD is very thin hair and a poor threashold for
"hair pain" as she calls it when I try to style it.
