Important point is does she do good hair?

I have left a salon once for the workers. They all were engaging in topics that were just not appropriate work conversation ignoring the customers as they worked.

The owner was cutting my hair pissed off and it reflected in my hair cut!

If this was a fluke, I would give her a pass if she does good hair.

Wow, you sure do judge harshly. People do have a very primal reaction to their child/or a family member's child being hurt, or maybe this woman has a horrible temper and an inability to filter her conversations, but that in no way means she has a mental illness.

Well then I disagree with your disagreement If she was arrested and the Police felt she needed psychiatric evaluation based on her actions then she most likely would have been taken to the ER. I guess the Police just figured she was an angry young woman and just took her to jail.

Anyway, I think its really a stretch to just label someone as mentally ill because they do something like that. There are plenty of people with bad tempers who momentarily lose their cool and it results in this sort of behavior. Maybe she does have a history of mental illness, but what she did certainly isn't a clear indication of that, like the pp has assumed.
