My biggest suggestion is to try to remain looking like you. Keep your "look" but crank it up a notch....I hate it when people do their hair and makeup sooo differently that you can't even recognize them.

lol i want to look different. I have a DD I take care of all day so usually no make up, hair in a pony tail. haha
I'm going to look at the brides.com one, I looked at the knot and didn't really see anything.
Thanks!
Do you go to someone regularly to get your hair cut? If so most of the time, they will have books in their salon for just this very thing. I know the girl that cuts my hair does, some of the books are even dedicated to wedding and prom hair styles.
I showed her kind of what I wanted and she put her own little spin on it and it looked great.
My daughter matched hairstyles to the dresses for her wedding. She was going for a reto look so both her hair and the bridesmaid's were in styles common during the fourties. Think victory rolls, birdcage veils, etc.
Do you have a theme? Also, check you tube, the benefit of you tube is you actually see how the style was fixed which helps when explaining the look you're going for to a hairdresser.
