Hair Salons near WDW????

I need some expert advice concerning a great Hair Salon near WDW.

About 2 years ago, I surprised my Wife with an appointment for the Salon
at the Yacht and Beach Club. What a disaster!!!

In years past, it was the Nikki Bryan Salon and it was fantastic.

Could someone please recommend a Hair Salon that will give my wife back
that satisfaction when she leaves the Salon?

I have it easy because my Son-In-Law, Grandson and I are making a tradition
of the Magic Kingdom Barber Shop.

Thanks for your help! We will be back in Disney World in December 2010.

I can't really suggest any, but there are several on property. They are all rather pricey by my standards. There's one at the GF, one at Saratoga Springs, and one at CSR (maybe different company). I think there is also something at the Dolphin.

If you are trying to give her a treat, without a sense of disaster....you may want to try a spa treatment instead like a pedicure, manicure, or message. There are (I think) spas at: AKL, GF, SSR, YC, and the Dolphin.

Another idea if you want to do something special but not long lasting like a cut or color, is getting an updo for a fancy evening out. I would think the folks at GF would be especially good at those, since here are so many weddings on property. (though wedding are held all over property) An updo is getting your hair put up in a fancy way. I would think the stylists they hire to work at WDW are experts in updos over perhaps other salon services.
