Hair products for humidity?

In 2 1/2 weeks I'll be moving from the dry desert, to much-more-humid Virginia. Every time I visit somewhere humid on vacation, my hair looks HIDEOUS (frizzy). I'm afraid of having bad hair days EVERY day after I move to VA.

Can someone who lives in a humid area recommend products that REALLY work and keep your hair frizz-free? Thanks so much!

I personally like Zero Frizz. It's a product very similar to Frizz Ease, but it's less expensive and works a lot better on my hair. I buy it at Walmart or any pharmacy type place (Rite Aid, CVS).

In a pinch, I've used Frizz Ease, and Fructise. I think any of those glycerine based products will work similarly.

Go professional There are many great products out there. Redken has a nice product called staight. Or you can try Paul Mitchel Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner. I don't know if you are looking for styling product or shampoo. Good Luck. (I've beenin the hair business for 11 years. I could go on and on and on. Too many to mention.)

I don't have "frizzy" hair but I have fine hair that can EASILY go limp with too much humidity.

You don't say whether you use hairspray or not but, if so, try Sebastian's Shaper Plus hairspray. It is anti-humidity. I was the only one at a recent beach wedding whose hair did not MELT with the humid air.

I agree Shaper spray is great. As well as Matrix sleek line. Sleek line has a hairspray that is water-free and also good for humidity.

Yes, professional lines are what I'm talking about, although I'm not opposed to good brands found in Target/Walmart, either. I'm not limited to shampoo & conditioner. Any products that help are what I'm looking for.

Try Matrix Biolage Smoothing Shine Milk. I live in bama,high humidity central , have curly hair, and use this stuff. I think my hair is addicted to it. It makes it smoothe and shiny, bouncy, and there's no frizz. I love it. (maybe I should do a commercial)

I have curly/wavy hair that I wear straight most of the time. I have not been able to find anything that will keep it from going curly/wavy in the humidity. I would love to try something that actually works.
