Hail Mercutio: Guest Services God!

I did something stupid. Really stupid. I can't divulge the stupid thing because I don't want to get Mercutio in trouble. HOWEVER, it had to do with the Fairy Tale Pkg and it had to do with the reservation. Anyhow, the money I sent was received by WDW too late (did I mention how STUPID I am?!) and my reservation was cancelled. Yes, cancelled. Last week, upon finding out that my money was received too late, and thus, the reservation was cancelled, I emailed and faxed and called PLEADING for a reinstatement of the reservation. Nope. Can't do it. FTP is OVER. Nope. Too late. Sorry, ma'am. Money will be returned. The promotion is OVER...etc. Anyhow, I've been just SICK over the whole thing, so today, I give it one last shot. Called CRO and got St. Michael, who comisserated, but "could do nothing". Let me let you talk to Mercutio in Guest Services. You can explain it to him. I did, and low and behold, and voila, and poof, and everything else magical! Mercutio came through for me. Reinstated the reservation and did it with good will and joy and probably a magic wand. Dag! Was I happy! I won't tell you what the STUPID extinuating circumstance was that I was embroiled in, but suffice it to say that if it wasn't for this guy, my little girls, husband and ANOTHER FAMILY would've had my head on a platter with justification. I've had a magical day and my heart sings MERCUTIO! Sorry this is so long - just wanted to tell those who have had crummy CMs that this was a really positive experience...yay for us we're still going on the FTP!!!!

I just wanted to say how cool I think it is that there's someone in guest services named "Mercutio." (I am, of course, an English teacher. My students always want to stop reading Romeo and Juliet after Mercutio dies.)

This was a payment that was not processed by WDW because it was received too late. It was the first part of the payment for the reservation.
