Had to put our dog to sleep today

Her name was Esme and she was a little corgi. If you could say a prayer for her or send her good thoughts it would be great. She didn't have the best life and I know I didn't do as much as I could for her.

We are going to be putting one of our dogs to sleep soon. He has always been messed up and we tried to rehabilitate him. He bit my nephew last yr and he has just gotten worse.

The kids are very upset but it has become an issue of safety now.

Sometimes you have to be the adult and do the right thing.

Oh, I know how your heart is breaking. My 13 year little toy poodle died in my arms Friday evening of congestive heart failure.

I also happen to have a corgi at home too. They are wonderful little dogs.

I just try to remember all the good times. Don't beat yourself up over this. I'm sure you did what was best.

Call Cesar Millan! Seriously! A lady from work emailed him and although their case wasn't on tv, one of his people took the dog for rehabilitation and put him up for adoption. Supposedly the dog now lives on a ranch in texas and is doing well!

We had to put our white german shepherd to sleep two years ago. It is really hard thing to do, but she is at peace.

She will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for you and making new friends while she is waiting. My Bambi will be there to greet her and take care of her till you get there.

So sorry for the loss of your furbaby. We found our Corgi mix dead last year and they really are great dogs. She had many Corgi traits. I'll let Cody know to look for a new playmate at the bridge.
