Had to cancel Jan vaca- Yacht Club - question about tickets

(I actually posted this on the Resorts thread but I think this may be the more appropriate spot.)

I haven't been on these boards since 2002!! yes, 2002!!! But when I had a question I knew where to turn. I can't believe I remembered my info!

Anyway, I have a question. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our upcoming trip in January. We were booked for the Yacht Club too So sad about it.

Here is my question- I booked my room and tickets SEPARATELY. I cancelled the hotel and got a cancellation confirmation #. However I have four 5 -day park hoppers which were linked, etc to my hotel reservation. Since we DID NOT activate them yet because we are not there- and will not be going- will they expire? I have the ticket confirmation # and wrist bands, etc for them.

This all happened very suddenly and we are hopeful we can reschedule for some time later in 2015. Will these tickets expire? Since we haven't been there that 14 day thing wouldn't apply would it?

I'm going to need to call in the morning to find out. But I'm freaking out that I'll be out the $.

Not positive, but u never used them, so not activated thus unused. Good luck, sorry u had to cancel.

MYM passes expire 14 days from first use. as long as you don't use them to enter a park, they will be good forever and ever.....
