We went 5/24-6/2 & spent our 1st nt. near MCO. Magical Express went smoothly & check in @ WL was quick! We had a standard rm @ the AP rate (it's all we could get - a last minute trip), but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a courtyard view - rm 5079 without even asking! We looked straight out onto the lake! It was a bit noisy during WCC hours, but the view was breathtaking! We love the new bus to MK - very quick & never crowded. We got the pool early each day, so we always had a lounge chair & they didn't check id's... Roaring Forks was a mad house at times, but we managed. After all, it was a holiday weekend!
When we switched to POR for our last 4 nts., the lobby was packed & check in took a while - it was our 11th stay there, & I've never seen it so crowded! However, we were able to get a room like we like: AB, top floor, corner - #1640. Good location to south depot & main building. We used the quiet pool, so I never saw how crowded Old Man Island was. After Memorial Day you could tell a drop in attendance @ the resort & @ the parks we went to. Mousekeeping cleaned our rooms early @ both resorts, but no towel animals. We enjoyed the food court @ POR as usual & it wasn't crowded except in the mornings.
Any questions?
