Hi! My mother, daughter and myself all have Ehlers-Danlos 3. My mother and my daughter have it really, really badly so we'll need a roll-in shower so that they don't injure themselves getting into the shower. In looking at the booking categories for Pop, I see that there is actually a King/Double room available with roll in shower. This would be ideal for the three of us so that we would all have enough sleeping space without having to worry about us injuring one another while sleeping(yes, that can really happen!). My question is this, has anyone had any experience with this room? How hard or soft are the beds? Is this a larger room than regular rooms? THX! :goodvibes

I could be very wrong but I think that it is a king OR two double beds, not both a king and a double.

All the rooms are EXACTLY the same size. Now when they put in the rollin shower bathroom they actually have to decrease the size of the 'bedroom area' slightly to allow for the extra room in the bathroom.
I think the beds are on the harder side but I like a soft bed. I manage okay. Not my favorite hotel bed but I make it work for the time that I am there. I have heard Others comment that they think the mattresses are too firm. LOL. Everyone is different! ;)

You are correct, there is a "king plus double" handicapped accessible room option. I think that will work perfectly for your situation, with adequate space. There may not be many of these available, especially with the roll-in shower, so I suggest you book it sooner rather than later.

I can't speak for the hardness/softness of the beds. Most likely the same as the rest of the beds at POP or even other resorts, since I assume they use the same mattresses throughout.

Enjoy your vacation!

ETA: I sent you a PM.
