Wow! That's really going back. I used to love to watch that show. That and the Banana Splits! :)

Yep it really is. What in the world were we thinking. Did you see the brady kids singing? And the audience going crazy. Wow.
I used to come home for lunch and watch the banana splits. Did anybody watch The New Zoo Review too?

there are websirtes devoted to H.R. PufnStuff..and Lidsville....

and people talking about needing years of therapy from watching these shows...

I guess I'm too young cuz I was watching it and I had no idea what was going on lol. THe only thing that was familiar to me was the Brady Bunch kids!

I loved this show and the Banana Splits with the Sour Grape Bunch. I thought those Sour Grape Bunch girls were so lucky, I wanted to be one of them:teeth: I heared the complete Puff n' Stuff is supposed to be coming out on DVD. I gotta get it!:teeth:

I used to love watching that show! When was it on TVLand? I missed it. Is it going to be on again? My kids always get a kick out of seeing what I used to watch on tv.

Bananna Splits used to run many years ago (reruns) on TBS or something, like 10 years ago or so. My DH loved that show sooo much! He used to watch it everyday. I was bummd when they stopped airing it.
I wish I knew HR was on...I liked him and WitchyPoo

Tigeroo- I loved New Zoo Review. That was a PBS show wasn't it?

Yeah I caught 3 episodes last night on TV Land
the Bugaloos
H.R. PufnStuff
and Land of the Lost -- but No Sleestak my faves

I too loved the Banana Splits

My kids (5 & 9) have been watching these shows for a couple of years since I bought some videos. Some also have the shows Land of the Lost, Lidsville, Sigmund and the sea monster, The Bugaloos, some other show with a wonder-woman type character and a couple of others. Fun stuff.

DH & I must be in a time warp since he also just bought the entire first season (8 dvd's) of Lost in Space! :)

I used to watch all these shows, I liked the women on the new zoo review (I see a rerun not long ago, man was that show dumb)

I read a great biography on the Krofft Brothers.. they did so much in the early to mid 70's.

They did Pufnstuff, Lidville, Land of the Lost (I remember this one being so scary when I was a kid), Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Bugaboo, and some variety shows. (I think Donny and Marie was one, and the Brady kids was another.)

They also were very talented costume designers... they designed the Koolaid Man costume (the one that crashed through walls), and many other puppets/maroionettes.

They also had a short lived amusement park in Atlanta. I would have loved to have gone to the amusement park then.

They also did the puppets for the Genesis "Land of Confusion" video, and another late 80's political TV show which was on NBC for a short time.

Ha-ha the kids watched "Land of the Lost" with me last night. We were laughing our behinds off.

I hope they run this stuff again, it is great for sharing my "old days".:)

I used to watch this show, too. I really loved Jimmy, I thought he was sooo cute.:sunny:

Does anyone remember Simba the white Lion? Or Davie and Goliath? How about Speedracer-go speedracer, go speedracer, go speedracer GOOOO

all i remember is a movie that involved a talking flute and a witch that wanted to be witch of the year.
