We are headed down to WDW from NYE through Marathon Weekend. Our son is coming with us. He is a college baseball player and he has to keep up with his provided workouts for the upcoming season. We have a split stay between AS Movies and Caribbean Beach Resort. Do either of these resorts have any sort of gym or work out rooms? In all my years going to WDW, I have never once searched out for a gym during our stay, LOL. If there is not a gym at these resorts, what are the options to work out on property, if any?

Neither of those resorts has a fitness center. One of the other moderates, Coronado Springs, does.

Most of the deluxe resorts have a fitness center, but you have to be a guest.

There are jogging trails at both of your resorts.

If you will have a car, several of the big chains have gyms near property.

Thanks.

I thought about that, but it's not really directly RunDisney related. It was more of which resorts have gyms. I mean, I run MW each year and have never even considered a resort with a gym or finding a gym nearby. LOL.
Yep, I get it. I just know the rD folks are often looking to get in runs or workouts while on property, so they know a lot of tricks. But you know that. Good luck with your search!

Thanks for this. We may have to think about changing up our reservations and stay at CSR the whole trip. May save us some hassle of switching resorts and I think it is actually $500 cheaper.

May want to look at Swan/Dolphin as well. They have a gym and are in the same price range as CSR (you'll also get the benefits of extended evening hours afforded to deluxe resorts). Skyliner/Boat access and better running trails in the epcot resort area.

edit: https://swandolphin.com/activities/health-clubs/ link to the health club website for swan/dolphin

Thanks! My parents are coming with us and it is their very first time to WDW. I know that Swan/Dolphin is technically on property, but for their first visit, they want to be all things Disney.

I would switch! CSR has 2 great gyms. One in the tower, lobby level by elevator bank, it's kind of hidden, and one in building 4 by the pool. CSR also has great restaurants and although it's large like CBR it's MUCH easier to navigate and get from point a to point B due to all of the bridges.

Makes sense, can't go wrong with either. Enjoy!
