Gym can we use wilderness lodge gym if tent camping

We are tent camping at Fort Wilderness and wonderd if we are OK to use the gym at Wilderness Lodge

Unless policy has changed, if you are not a guest of the lodge you don't get free use of Sturdy Branches Health Club; however, non-guests can pay a fee ($12/day last time I checked) to use the health club.

I haven't heard of the fee to use in a long time. It isn't listed anywhere as an option to be able to pay to use the health club at any Deluxe resort if not a guest there.

1) There is a published daily charge, posted INSIDE the spa/gym.
2) Occasionally, the Desk CM will charge the fee.
3) Most of the time, Fort and Fort Wilderness guests do not get the daily charge.
4) This is not a guarantee or a stated fact, just a favor by the CM on duty.
5) Plan upon paying, but smile if they do not make you pay.

We were there in Dec/Jan. My son tried to use the gym and pay a fee. One day he was able to use the equipment and the CM did not know anything about a fee. The rest of the time the CMs wouldn't let him use the gym. He decided to run each day on the trail between the Fort and the WL instead.

The Sturdy Branches Health Club is complimentary for Guests (14 or older) staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Guests 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to enter.

Hours of Operation
Fitness equipment at this facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be easily accessed with your MagicBand.

Lockers are available for your convenience. However, valuables should be secured in your hotel safe.​
