You might want to be aware that the Kidani staff do nothing to monitor the fitness center. On my trip there last month there were a number of kids whose parents had evidently just dumped them there tearing around the fitness center unsupervised. And several of them were clearly younger than 14. I have no problem with kids, but when they started throwing a medicine ball around and nearly knocked me off a treadmill, that was the last straw. I did file a complaint in writing (since there was no one there to complain to and the staff at the resort weren't interested in hearing about it), but have received no response.

OT - I have a question about the children's age. I have a 12 year old daughter that wants to use the gyms treadmills. She is very athletic and wants to stay in shape for soccer. Can she use them if we (a parent) stays with her?

I understand completely about keeping kids out who are just messing around, but she really wants to run and doesn't like to run by herself outside and me and DH don't run.

Your DD12 can go by herself if she wanted to. My DS13/DS09 went by themselves with no problems from April 04-09, 2010.

Interesting. You seem to agree that I should be able to complain (that is the address I contacted without response, by the way). But then you admit that you've allowed your own children to break the rules.

at the very first time at the gym, I asked the age question, and was told by CM my kids could use the gym by themselves at your own risks without supervision of an adult.

my kids used the gym equipment like at home....i know they used it because on few occasions I peeped at them with my LIVE mobile recording...
