Is there an extra charge to use the workout gym at akl?

Yes there is. I don't remember the amount, but it seems to me it was in the ballpark of 10 dollars a day.

This I can say with certainty....$45 for a family pass for length of stay........

there is a charge, I thought I had heard something about that before but when I asked the customer rep at disney they assured me that this was not true.
However after getting your responses I called again.
This time the answer was yes, so I started searching all over the disney website but it does not mention this fee anywhere.
I called guest services and told them the site does not mention a fee anywhere. They credited me 50 dollars in disney dollars to py for the fee when I arrive at AKL because she said I was right the site does not mention it.

Apparently this message board has more accurate info than disney themselves.

Yes. $25 for an individual length of stay and $45 for a family length of stay. You can also pay by the day I think $10 or $15 but we were there for 10days so the $25 option made the most sense for us.
