GV possible at 7 month window?

I currently have THV booked for Feb 6th-12th 2010 but we're looking at switching to either OKW or AKV GV at the 7 month window due to the internal bus set up at THV. We'd rather wait a few years to stay in the THV when DS won't NEED a stroller. We really lie the bus system as we enjoy a few drinks in the parks so we don't want to drive even though we have a car available. We've already stayed in SSR GV and would stay again if that's all that's available, or be happy with THV if we can't get anything else, but we'd like to know what others thin our luck might be getting in AKV or OKW. I realize we could try for an AKV 2 br as well but that doesn't fit our sleeping arrangements as well. TIA for any help!

There's only one way to really tell...call MS and see. And if you don't get the answer you want, call back periodically.

The textbook answer is GV's are very hard to get at 7 months, but you don't need a textbook reservation. You only need one, and you're flexible about where you stay.

You have nothing to lose -- you already have a reservation -- so just keep trying until you (hopefully) get what you want.

We got a GV at OKW a couple of years ago. I called at 7 months and had to go on the waitlist but it came thru in time to still get the cheap southwest airfare.
Can't hurt to try.

When planning our Easter week '08 trip, GVs at AKV and SSR were available at the 7 month window. OKW had a few days available, but not our full reservation. We took the SSR GV and enjoyed it very much!

last year we got a GV at OKW at 7 months for 2nd week of may. i think it depends what time of year and as far as i know the first week of february is fairly quiet (i could be wrong). I think you have a pretty good shot.
