Ok We are big Yacht and beach club fans, We are thinking of trying the poly in Jan. We are thinking of a GV concierge.
Id like to know from those who have done this if they enjoyed the Concierge food and drinks and what room and Bld they would sugest.
Thank you Thank you Thanks you!! (In advance :))
TNK!

The Poly concierge lounge is very nice, and offers a good selection, I'm sure you'll be happy.
The concierge is all in the Hawaii longhouse, so you have no decision there! if you have concierge booked, you will be in Hawaii. which just so happens to be (imho) the best located longhouse at the Poly! :)
the garden view is lovely, it is of the quiet pool, lush tropical foliage and tiki torches!
the first floor has patio, and the 3rd floor has balconies, the 2nd floor doesnt have balconies.
I like the third floor best.

have a great time!

Laura :)

Thanks for answering Laura!!! :D :D
That was gonna be my next ?? Which floor?? I think first floor would be convient what did you like best about the third floor??

We will also be staying in the Poly GV concierge. We'll be there the week of Christmas:jester: I've requested a first floor room, I have a son with asthma so we need to stay away from the smoking rooms. Is any section better then the other? (middle, left or right????) This will be our first trip so I'm REALLY stressing :D Can you tell that the third floor is a smoking floor? I know that on Tikiman's site he said he's never noticed it. Just curious! Thanks :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We are going for our 2nd time 11/30-12/8 to use the final week of our APs which we got last year for our trip (AP rates and all, yahoo!!). We had requested 1st floor GV last year and ended up on the 3rd floor 2nd to the last room at the end of the hall. We loved it. Didn't notice any smoke smell in the room or even in the hall. Being at the end of the hall turned out to be a great location, very little foot traffic and we could just pop out the door at the end of the hall if we were going in that direction.

I thought the 3rd floor view was great and have requested 3rd or 1st for this year. BTW my sister was there also last year and they had 2nd floor and that was great also. They didn't seem to care about the lack of the balcony.

To be honest, we were not in the room enough to use the balcony other than a cup of coffee in the morning. My kids spent most of the time in the pool or the lounge feeding their faces (We won't talk about Mom & Dad).

IMHO you will like it no matter which room.
