GV at BWV

We have a GV booked at OKW for an Oct trip. I wanted to change that to BWV but could only get 2 of the 7 days. We have a new baby going and thought it would be better to be closer to some of the parks. I wait listed the other 5 days. Has anyone had luck with wait list for GV's? I got Mon and Tues which is in the middle of our trip. I hope the other days come through, but at least we still have OKW. Should I call daily and check or are they really good about calling? I had them put Sat and Sun on one wait list and Wed, Thur and Fri on another. Thanks for your input.

With a new baby, you will LOVE that you can walk right outside your OKW GV for a quick stroll...no long interior hallways to deal with. Plus, if you are driving or renting a car, your car will be right outside your door (great for just stashing extra baby paraphanalia). So, if the BW wait list doesn't come thru, I think you might actually be pretty happy!

I'd stick with OKW. There are only 9 GVs at BWV and 27 at OKW...Your odds are better to stay where you are.

I'd agree completely with Diane, if she'd posted that there are only 7 Grand Villas at the BWV, LOL.

October is one of the more difficult times to book the EPCOT resorts and the GVs are a popular choice. -There are probably already people on the waitlist ahead of you for the weekday nights.
