Alright I need advice, please!
I had a best guy friend and him and I were so close. I mean we would talk for hours and hours about stupid nonsense. I loved our friendship. I think he liked me a little though but didnt say anything because he didnt want to ruin our friendship; and I gave signals that I didnt like him like that.
Well, I went to this party that he invited my friends and me. I went and everything was fun and he wanted to dance with me but I just didnt because, well I really dont know. So the next day he lowered me on his myspace and through MSN he told me that he didnt see me as his true true friend and I wasnt his best friend anymore.
I was like WHAT?! Where did this come from? But all I said was ok, I respect your decision and we can leave it like this. I mean I was really hurt and wanted to cry because he was one of my closest friends. I felt like it was a really close friendship. So then a day after he messages me through myspace and tells me that it was just a joke and it was payback for not dancing with him! I was in complete shock and I was so MAD!
I mean what kind of a sick joke is that! Ughh. He tried talking to me at school but I didnt want to. I guess I just needed time. So today, he e-mails me and says: "Hey alex, long time no talk right? I know it seems weird for me to write this right now but whatever lifes like that. I just wanted to wish you a merry christmas and to thank you for the friendship we once had. I hope you have a great day with the people you love."
So, I wrote back and said, "Thanks. Well its not weird, its just weird how everything happened. But I thought what you did was pretty odd and mean =/ I miss hanging out though and being friends because it was a nice friendship. Well merry christmas"
