Today around 19:50 I went into the station. The doors to the trains were closed on my side (near the entrance of DLP, not the side of the buses), but as I was taking the rer I wasn't interested in the trains. While I was buying something from the vending machine, there was a very loud noise and it sounded like a gunshot. The people in front of me looked just as alarmed, I assume they thought the same. There was a security officer with a dog who started barking, but she didn't go towards the noise and stayed in her area.
I bought my ticket to the rer and went to my hotel without any problem, so whatever happened couldn't be very serious, but it did make me wonder. Im not easily scared but I do realize I am at a possible target place (especially tomorrow with the euro16 Finale and France playing)
Anyone else there at that time and has a clue to what happened? Was the entire station closed for the trains? I googled but couldn't find any explanation.
