Okay.......I'm about to pull all of my hair out.

My "Cube neighbor" has this thing about popping her gum EVERY DAY right after lunch. It just drives me NUTS!!

But she is one of those people that you simply just cannot say anything to her about it. Hard to explain, but you just CAN'T.

I think I would rather listen to fingernails scrape across a chalkboard than listen to gum popping.

Are there any other things like this that drive you crazy? Probably 2nd on my list is someone crunching (eating) ice.

I need some HEADPHONES before I crack!!

There is a woman who sits behind me at church (I tend to sit in the same pew every Sunday). Anyway she chews her gum like a COW!! It sounds horrible! It drives my DH crazy. I may have to change pews.

One of my co-workers, who works in another office, has the most annoying person sitting in the neighboring cube. He will pass gas, belch, hack and cough all day long. He is not shy about it either. Just the other day I was walking down the hall, and I could hear "Jay" belching his way down an intersecting hallway. Totally gross. I don't know how she handles it.

I work with a guy who tells the same stories every day to whomever he comes in contact with. I heard a story about having to scrape ice off his windshield 3 times on the way to work yesterday approximately 27 times. My reply the FIRST time I heard it? "Maybe you should get your defroster fixed." I didn't really think it was newsworthy enough to repeat over and over again to anyone who would listen.

I like to blow bubbles and pop my gum in my office to amuse myself while writing. If I was in a cube farm though I wouldn't do that.

I chew 8 lbs of ice a day, but not at work.

I hate it when men clip their fingernails at their desk.

It's so bad, I always leave the area. I cannot stand that sound.

I used to sit next to a person who held conversations with herself all day. This was the same office where the vp would walk around all day whistling tunelessly. I didn't last very long at that job.

Seriously?? Do you eat ice continuously throughout the day? :confused3

That's a lot of ice to be chomping on...

Pm me her e-mail address and I'll e-mail her an anonymous letter talking about how annoying it is for OTHER people to hear the popping of gum. I hate that too!

I used to work near "The Whistler." He'd whistle a happy tune -- somewhat quietly, but loud enough to hear -- all day, every day. He'd stop -- for a little while -- if someone said something. But soon he'd be back to mindlessly whistling again. At least he stayed in tune / on key.

Yeah,:crazy2: but it's worse when it's their toenails. A friend told me that her boss would take off his shoes and socks and clip his toenails while she was in his office. GROSS!!!!!

Have you had a blood test lately........you could have anemia I used to do this (when I was anemic) it's called 'pica'.
Just wondering, I wish someone had told me.......... :rolleyes2

My boss used to whistle and it sooo got on my nerves. Finally one day I told be that whistling was not allowed after 8am. When we would uncousciously start whistling he would get 'the evil eye look' and stop.

I hate tapping. My husband taps his ring to songs on the radio. It drives me up the wall. When co-workers tap pencils and pens...ARGH!!! I want to choke them!

I used to have this cube neighbor (who, btw, looks like the stapler guy from the movie Office Space, I swear!!!) who likes to scrape off every last morsel of food in his tupperware container. He'd be having breakfast or lunch in his cube, and I can tell when he's almost done eating, because I'd be hearing this *scrape* *scrape* *scrape* sounds using his spoon about 3 or 4 times, before it would finally stop!

You know how people have these little habits that get you down?
Like Bernie.
Bernie like to chew gum.
No, not chew. POP.
Well, I came home this one day
And I am really irritated, and
looking for a little sympathy
and there's Bernie layin'
on the couch, drinkin' a beer
and chewin'. No, not chewin'.
Poppin'. So, I said to him,
I said, "Bernie, you pop that
gum one more time..."
and he did.
So I took the shotgun off the wall
and I fired two warning shots...
...into his head.
