Gullivers in the Sawn

I cant wait to go to disney
I am confused about Gullivers. Does it have disney characters for dinner?? is it buffet or sit down?? There menu is very confusing??

I haven't been there since 2001, but I recall that you could choose the buffet or the menu. There have always been characters during the 4 times I've been there.

We ate there earlier this month. There were some "less than glowing" reviews on this site, but we tried it anyway since we were staying at the Swan.

We went on a Friday night (had PS and seated immediately) - characters were Timon and Rafiki, and we saw them quite a few times. You can choose buffet or menu. Friday is a seafood themed buffet, which I don't care much for, but looked fresh and tasty. We all ordered off the menu.. DH and dad enjoyed the filet mignon, mom had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, DS had kids pizza, and I had fried ravioli and a salad. Everything was good.. and mom even said the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. Service was good but not excellent. Also note that they will pour you a small sample of the featured wine if you wish. Desserts can be chosen from the buffet, but I think the cost was $8.00.

they do have characters, we had pluto and one other...can't remember who. We were there on italian nite for the buffet, we love italian, so we both got that, plus it seemed like a better value. The food was very good, and we had great service, but we ate early and there was only 2 other tables full while we were there. As we were leaving it looked like about 30 people were on their way in, so I guess we just barely beat the crowd!
