Guests accommodation?

Hi, I'm just starting to look into an Escape wedding.

I've read that you have to have a minimum stay of four nights at a Disney hotel. Am I right in assuming that this is just for the bride and groom, and that the wedding guests can stay wherever they want?

Probably a stupid question but it's so hard trying to figure everything out

Hi Emily,

Yes, the bride and groom have to stay four nights in a Disney resort, but the guests are free to stay wherever they would like and for as long (or short) a time as they care to! HTH!

Yes, as long as you have four nights in a Disney hotel. It dosen't matter which "level" it is!

Are the discount rooms only if you have a wishes wedding? We are planning and escape wedding but will definately have more than 25 room nights (or whatever it is) between us and our families bc we're making a big family vacation out of the whole thing... do you think we could negotiate for a discount if we gaurantee the rooms?

You can talk to your planner about it. I asked mine and she said I would have to have 10 ROOMS (not nights, just to be clear), and the discount would only be 10% (O can do better with just AAA, usually). Due to our guests' circumstances (where they are staying, etc.) I never pursued further to see if I could get us a better deal, as we would never have reached the 25 nights of the 10 rooms. It certaintly wouldn't hurt to ask!
