guestion about applying codes to existing reservation

We have a package reserved for 5 nights in the treehouses (cash, not DVC) in Jan 2010. If a discount comes out for my dates and resort, will I be able to apply it even if all the villas are already booked? Does there need to be open treehouses in order to apply the discount? Still trying to fugure out the discount booking rules!!

There needs to be availability for your resort within the code. Does that make sense? Meaning, Disney allows X number of rooms at the resorts to be used under each code. When you call, you are calling to see if there is availability for your resort choice on the code that has been offered.

Unlikely. The codes are devised to entice more people into the resort. If all the rooms are sold, there is no need for an enticement.
