The CMs that work at Guest Relations have special gold Disney "D" pins that say Guest Relations. I have heard (floating around somewhere) that pin traders really want them and that they consider them "rare" or "valuable" pins. I'm just curious, does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

They are rare. Genuine ones sell for a few hundred dollars. You can get replicas on eBay and other places, but beware as they range in quality from absolute garbage to acceptable. They average in price from 5 to 20 dollars. Here is the real one:

Notice the difference in workmanship and quality. So there you go. :thumbsup2

The Hostess pin pictured runs about $50. The Tour Guide version of the script Disneyland "D" can go as hi as $200.

However, I believe the OP was inquiring about the current WDW Guest Relations badge. As it is a current costume piece, it tends to walk away when employees leave or "get lost". My hi estimate would be $30-40 on that one, but beware, bootlegs of that exists as well
