While I'd give the OP some latitude in this area because they had the benefit of the nuances of voice tone and the like, IMO, to get upset about this wording is unreasonable. The reality is it is different from a Guest Services standpoint.The humorous side of me would have commented after she asked if this was a 'real Disney reservation'...as opposed to a 'fake Disney reservation'!!!
She may be. She may be not. My wife owns a company that Disney contracts to. They handle a lot of the reservation line as well as dining.she is absolutely a Disney employee.
