Just finished my phone interview with Disney and they offered me a position over the summer. This is also part of a thing called a "Summer Project" which is like a missional project while working for Disney, sponsored by the Christian organization that I'm involved in here at USC called Campus Crusade. It's kinda hard to describe so if you wanna check it out, here's their website: http://www.go-world.org/Go_World/Summer_Project.html

They haven't told me specifically what job I'm in yet, so I'll keep you guys posted. My first choice was working in "Attractions", cause that's super sweet. Then my other choices were working in Counter Service or ODV (like Albort! -shout out :goodvibes ).

I definitely want to blog during my experience, so I hope you'll all follow that too. I am super excited about this opportunity, and I'll definitely be updating this as I learn more about my new job.

Cool! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Looking forward to reading your blog. Congratulations!

Aw, our "most helpful teen on the DISneyland board" is all grown up! ;) Thanks for sharing your news DLR29. Hope you enjoy the experience. :goodvibes

Are you doing the CP that runs until beginning of January, or is it the summer alumni program?

Either way, I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun! I really want to do the WDW CP after I graduate from law school, so I can say I've done both, but I really should go into a law job. Being grown up sucks sometimes, lol.

Now that I read the link, it makes a little more sense. I wish they had something like that for the CP besides the alumni summer program, because it doesn't work with my schedule :(

Congratulations!! :yay: That sounds like it will be a lot of fun!

That is so cool! I look forward to reading your adventures! Congratulations!! :cheer2:

Nice, if you still have choice stay at Chatham, it is more amenity rich according to many.

Do you have a blog going? Are you going to post a link?

I think your position choices are funny because a freind of mine will be there next summer and is upset she got ODV. Don't worry though since she started the interview process all she could do is complain.

Cool news. You are going to have to change your screen name to WDW29! ;)

Congratulations!!!:thumbsup2
I am definitely going to read your blog about the experience!

Sweet I hope you can keep the blog going regularily all summer. But don't forsake having fun for it!

I'm so happy for you! Can't wait to read more about your adventure! DH and I met in our campus college group but it wasn't Campus Crusade, it was Intervarsity. That's wonderful you are getting into Disney's college program. Have you ever been to WDW before or is this all new?

Hey there's an IV at USC! I know tons of people in it. I have been to WDW twice: once for 7 days and once, more recently last summer, for 10 (my TR and dining review are in my signature). So it's not all completely new, but I haven't been there as much as DLR. :wizard:

Got it bookmarked! :thumbsup2

Sounds like you are in for a true adventure! We will be waiting for your next post. :thumbsup2

Very, very excited to hear about your summer. :cool1:

I have bookmarked your blog, but please keep us informed here too! :thumbsup2

I'm praying for a great summer experience, all the way around!

Leaving tomorrow! I'm visiting Universal Studios and Wizarding World of HP for a couple days first, and then my Project starts on the 31st. :thumbsup2

New blog post!

Have safe an easy travels. Will be interesting to see what you say when you are on the other side.

Quick update. Went to Universal Studios today for the first time ever. It was a lot of fun and I got a ton of rides and shows done. On top of that, crowds were relatively low for a holiday weekend (or lower than I expected), and the weather hasn't gotten grossly humid yet. So overall, a very awesome day. Rode Mummy x4, Men In Black x5, and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit twice---gotta love single rider lines. Also, some of the queues I though were amazing, such as the Mummy and ET in particular.

Tomorrow I'm off to IoA and I'm super stoked for WWoHP.
