Guess who won 2nd place in his costume contest yesterday?

My 83yo Dad!!!

The nurses at the nursing home dressed him up as the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz!

My aunt goes to take him home every day but yesterday he said NO he's staying and playing!

He had the best time! After all he's been through he truly deserves a good time!!

How wonderful, Robin! Sounds like he had a lot of fun.
My Mom was in a nursing home before she died. She loved Halloween there. The school kids would come over and the residents would be all lined up in their wheel-chairs and hand out candy to them. They did the same thing for Mardi-Gras. There was always something fun going on there.
