Here's something a little eerie.

In 12th grade (95-96), we had to pick one word on the first day of my literary class and that was "our" word for the year. It was a strange assignment, and we were only given about 10 minutes to find something unique. Oddly enough, the front page of the newspaper had African words and meanings, and JAMBO! caught my eye. I know it sounds bizarre, but we always had to make that word show up somewhere in our work for the entire year.

On a BBS board I used to frequent, my signature was always JAMBO! It's funny now how that word comes into play
