guess who came home to an open (unlocked) house?

After I took DS to the bus stop I went food shopping. Havent been home for 2hrs and I come home to an open house! Check all the rooms & closets. DS must have left the door open when he went out to the car. I was already outside scraping the ice off the car windows. Guess I'll need to speak w/him when he gets home. (That could have been his PS2 and DHs DVD player that took a walk!)

Glad everything is ok. Dont be too hard on him. I have to admit, Ive done the same thing, only Ive gone out and left my sliders open...more than once.

Another scary thing - I usually go to bed before DH and it's his job to be sure the dog goes out one more time, the lights are off and the doors are locked. I got up one morning to let the dog out and our back door was unlocked all night long! Sure gave me the heebee jeebies! (And DH got an earful, too.) You just can't afford to be careless these days.

My DH forgets to lock the door all the time. He says I am paranoid. I say he grew up in the boonies.

Glad to hear nothing was taken and it was probably just your ds.

I love the fact that a ps2 doubles as a dvd player. It saved us having to spend the money on buying both.

I do that more often than I care to admit. I can't believe that I do it, since I'm very cautious by nature, but yet I do it over and over. I've been lucky so far and never had anything taken.
