Guess I missed the big announcement about the "Bachelor"???

I read in People that Bob and Estella broke up...no shock there, but I guess I expected a bigger publicity announcement, Like with Andrew and Jennifer. Oh well, Estella...No loss, she'll find someone better. I think Bob was a big phony.

Now, Jen and Andrew, I'm really crushed about. I thought they would make it.

Bob turned me off to the show. I could not watch a single episode of his "Bachelor". I wasn't even aware he had a CD out.

A very bad CD. He's got the biggest head. The thing is everyone, including Oprah loved him at first because he was this humble, regular guy. Now, he thinks he's God's gift. He makes me shudder. Oh well, it's still sad about Ryan and Trista.

I think Estella deserved much better than Bob! I liked Bob at first but his head just keeps getting bigger and bigger. If he doesn't watch it, his head may just POP!
I'm sad too that Jen and Andrew didn't make it. Hopefully Ryan and Trista will but I think maybe it's time to end the whole bachelor/bachelorette thing now.

So true, Dan... These shows are based on competition, no LOVE. The competitors want to win this PRIZE, in this case it's a human being. After the game is over you have to deal with this "prize", faults and all and all of a sudden it's a different ballgame.

No WONDER they don't last.

Yes, the Bachelor/Bachelorette is a competition/joke and is definitely not "quality" TV. However, after a long day of doing taxes, housework, dealing with my son, I love to sit there with a glass of white wine and watch the women go after the guy. The bachelorette is usually not as fun-the guys just don't get as upset or catty as the girls. They all hang out and drink beer and play basketball. The girls cry, get all emotional, and tear each other up. Maybe we could learn something from the guys???

LOL pnelson, I feel the exact same way. Maybe not the most quality tv on and definately not a brain drain at the end of a long day. It is just goofy tv. I watch it for fun and like to see the different places the "contestants" get to go. However, I didn't like Bob at all. I thought he was kindof funny on the first show he was on but then on his own show he really bothered me. He was as genuine as a 3 dollar bill and Estella should be glad she is rid of him! I felt he did not treat the women well or with respect.

It is now time to get rid of the Bachelor show and move onto something else. In my opinion, Bob helped ruin the show because he was so fake and now alot more people are just sick of it. I for one will definately not be watching the next Bachelor.
