Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ‘Holiday Remix’ will debut on November 25th!

Disney to Announce Cast Member Previews Soon for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT

Soon, our Cast Members will have several opportunities to learn more and experience the Wonders of Xandar pavilion and all it has to offer. More information to come soon!

It is expected, but unconfirmed, that there will be Annual Passholder previews as well as other affiliations such as Disney Vacation Club. Previews will likely start in early to mid-May. Cosmic Rewind opens to the public on May 27th.

An article by wdwmagic says:

Cast-exclusive previews will begin in April, followed by Cast Member previews with friends and family in May.

Media previews are expected during a multi-day event in the first week of May, to be quickly followed by Club 33 members. We are yet to hear of any of the plans for Annual pass previews, but it would seem likely they would begin in the second week of May.
Now I get to see if I actually receive an AP email this time, if previews are offered. I didn’t get one for Rise or Remy. I was assured I was now signed up for all emails, but I don’t quite believe that for some reason. 😂

🤞🏻🤞🏻I’ll let you know if I get one!! 🙂

Any news on potential previews the week before? Of course our trip ends on May 21st. For example, Monday the 16th there are late hours for DVC guests...what are the chances it is open during those extended hours for previews?
Late hours that date are posted for the deluxe resorts not just DVC

Yeah - I get this...I'm renting DVC not a DVC member which is why I'm curious if they might just open up standby that night since it's a reduced audience

Yay! I’ll be there on June 6th. I’ll be solo. I hope there is a single rider line but I’m willing to pay for Disney Genie 😃

Two questions for you all. The last two days of our trip are May 27th and 28th. We already have a reservation for the 28th. If you were me would you also make a reservation for the 27th to have a better chance of riding this?

Do we think it will have ILL allowing us to try and purchase a ride ? Standby only?
Both my husband and son said they would really like to ride this but we will save it for another trip if we need to wait over 3 hours.

Just wondering how everyone thinks this will work on opening weekend.

Do we think there’ll be enough of a crowd to prevent park hopping to Epcot once the ride opens?

I’ve got Epcot booked for 30th and 31st but might chance my arm and try to buy an ILL on opening day and then park hop over.

I’m wondering the same. I have Space 220 booked on the 27th for dinner at7 but my park reservation for that day is MK. If I’m not going to be able to hop to Epcot, I will have to change my reservation asap.

I've never been at a park on the opening day of a ride. We just so happen to have reservations for Epcot on May 27. I'm not sure we'll even be able to ride because of motion sickness. Will Epcot be even more crowded on this opening day than it would the day before if they're only using VQ or ILL? Wondering should we change our park reservation to the day before to miss some of the crowd.

Do new rides effect the lines for the other rides? We'll be in Epcot that day. I really have no interest in this ride. Not a marvel person and this coaster sounds intense.

I imagine that the park will be full that day for people trying to get a ride. But I have no idea how that will effect the rest of the rides. I’m imagining that the whole park will still pretty busy .

I agree with Pigletto, it's going to be super busy with people trying to hit up the new ride. I would try to book your Epcot day before the 27th.

We have epcot reservations on May 30th and was planning a pool day on Friday June 3rd but maybe I'll make that a second Epcot day just in case we can't get on this on Monday...
