I have only been to WDW with immediate family. We are taking 5 family members that have never been and that makes our group 10 people. Any tips?

Don't be surprised if you can't get everyone to agree to do everything together.

Often large groups can separate to do different things, then meet-up for specific meals and/or events.

Make reservations for sit downs,it will be impossible to do walk ups. Or plan on counter service for meals. Get a plan on where to go and what fast passes to get,as ten people are hard to keep happy as people want to do different things. We have been down there with ten people several time and once withtwelve. Don't take it all on your shoulders to plan, make it everyone's responsibility to plan..and the most important thing, your favorite alcoholic beverage..lots of them..lol

I am going in november with my sisters and their families for a total of 13 of us. The biggest recommendation I can make is to be very clear on expectations. How are meals, travel etc to be paid or split? Are there certain times we are all eating together? Is it okay that if a couple want to do different rides we can split up? Also I whole completely agree with pp about booking adrs when available, it can be difficult to get them for 6 as it is, the more there are the harder it can be. Good luck, I am about 2 months out from my trip and I already want to occasionally strangle my family :rolleyes1

I did 9 last trip & 10 on our upcoming trip. If one of you is the biggest fan/most knowledgeable about WDW, I say have one planner. It would make me insane to have someone else changing our ADRs or FP+s after I had them made. The rest of my group has given me their 'must-do' lists, and I will make it work. For the most part, they are happy with what I've scheduled. We set expectations that we can separate & meet back up for our meals. But we enjoyed being together last trip! (More shocking than it sounds!!)

We just got back yesterday with a group of 12. I planned the fast passes and sit downs for everyone...for the first 2 days they just followed my lead, after that everyone did their own thing, occasionally meeting up for a parade or something. It went very smoothly. My 4 like to get up and do rope drop, break in the afternoon, stay till park closes, some of the people we went with liked to sleep in and not go to the parks until much later in the day. We all did what we wanted and it worked out well.
