Wondering what other people have experienced with dining with a large group. I was always told that for large groups Disney dining will only allow you at the beginning of a meal time or towards the end to better accommodate the whole party. I made a reservation for Whispering Canyon for a party of 20 at 8:25, is this going to be a problem?? Are we going to end up waiting a long time in order for enough diners to leave and the staff to set up the tables for us?

Thanks!

We ate there with a group of 25 on a Friday night in July 2008 (the weekend after the Fourth of July holiday). Our reservation was for 8:30 and it was almost 9:30 before we were seated. The problem was someone staying at their table longer than they expected. They did keep coming out and letting us know what was going on and even offered to seat some of us in the tables that were ready, but we chose to wait. I think our experience was the exception rather than the rule and you'll probably be okay. It was a fairly busy time at the park so I think that factors in also. It's a really fun restaurant with a group so have fun.
