I know ground floors have a balcony, but as a solo traveler, wondered if anyone had a suggestion about whether they felt safer being in upper floors?

My one solo trip I requested an upper floor. Many on the Dis told me that the much reduced foot traffic going by the room made them feel safer. It worked for me.

When traveling by myself, I always request a higher floor ( 3rd floor or higher ). Now it is Disney so if you are safety minded, then I wouldn't worry too much. I, personally, just know that foot traffic around the room may make hard for me to relax so a higher floor is just more for my peace of mind.

In all my solo trips I've requested, and gotten, upper floor. I just feel safer, so sleep more comfortably.
