Hi Kids,
I´m arriving in orlando on 22 Sept from NY with my mum, and I´m interested in the $49 a night rate advertised here for a Courtyard view room at the Grosvenor Resort at DTD. Having made a reservation enquiry, it seems to run for Sun - Thurs thru to the end of September right now, so I was thinking of maybe having a week at The Grosvenor before we make our way to the Keys for a few days.
Any of y´all who´ve seen my posts on it know I am a great fan of the Sheraton Fourpoints Lakeside on West US 192 and I was planning to book a week there, with the best rate currently showing on their website of $47/50 a night also.
I´d love any opinions on the Grosvenor, especially if anyone has stayed at both the above-mentioned hotels and can give me a comparison.
The $49 a night rate at the Grosvenor is a substantial reduction from the usual rate - is it worth what one would normally pay, and therefore, would it be a worthwhile upgrade in quality over the Sheraton ?
And I would be interested to know if the rooms at the Grosvenor have a refrigerator, or can one be hired ?
Quick replies would be appreciated as I would like to book my initial room quite soon. Thanks in advance !
