Does anyone have any good ideas for Groomsmen gifts and for a bachelor party in the Orlando area? Knowing my fiance she would like the bachelor party to be a "clean" version, so does anyone know what we could do at Disney? It looks like we'll have maybe 2-5 people involved with it.

There are lots of things you could do. You could drink around the world showcase at Epcot-- Start in Mexico with Margaritas or Dos Equis, and make your way to Canada, stopping for a beer in UK, US, Japan - etc. You could have dinner, maybe at Big River Grille at the Boardwalk (it's a brew pub) then go to Pleasure Island, if you aren't into dancing you could go to the Adventurer's Club (monty python-esque) or the Comedy Warehouse (stand up comedy) or the new Raglan Road (bar and restuarant) You could go to the dueling piano bar Jellyrolls at the boardwalk. You could go to the Atlantic Dance Hall, which I think is now a Jazz club. You could go play a round of golf or minigolf and make a day of it. You could go to DisneyQuest and play video games :) You could sign up for one of the tours that Disney offers, like the Segway tour.. (Segway's are the personalized standup people movers)

I don't know as much about outside Disney -- but I know that they have lots of dinner shows, like Medieval Times -- I think there is a City Walk at Universal (which is probably like Pleasure Island)

As for Groomsmen gifts.. it depends, do you want to give everyone the same thing? or something personalized for each person? My guy was a groomsmen for a friend last month, and each person got a different gift, he got a personalized yo-yo (he has a small collection) another guy got a flask cigar holder combo, another guy got a personalized beer stein. It kind of depends on the guys too.. you could give them all cuff links they could wear at the wedding.

Just some ideas!

Wow, I think you've covered just about everything Heather!! My DF is considering golf (and this would be easy for your small group of guys) at one of the golf courses in Disney. This is not too expensive and provides several hours of entertainment. The second idea is fishing. You can check out both these options on the Disney website. At night, we girls and the guys are going to meet up at Pleasure Island and hit the clubs.

what about going and having some drinks at ESPN zone at the boardwalk- I know that's probably what my DF will do for his bachelor party with his family and friends.

My dh was in his best friend's wedding, and his gift was the first season of Macguyver and a swiss army knife. I thought it was a great idea. I like the idea of personalizing the gift for each of the party members. How many people really need a zippo or flask with their initials. If they're drinkers or smokers great but not everyone is, and if they've been in a wedding or two lately they probably already have one anyway. I also don't think it really has to be really expensive just something that truely says you appreciate them.

At least that's my idea, having never been a groomsman, but having lots of wedding jewlery and purses that match ugly dresses, as 'gifts'. :rotfl2:

Hey I know of a really cool groomsmen gift for both bridesmaids and groomsmen. It's a shaving kit. Everybody shaves nearly everyday, what could be more perfect? We shop at http://www.groomsmen.com As for the destination to take your friends to, I can't be of any help on that. I am not experienced enough in traveling to know where to go.
