Grocery Stores

We always use Goodings, because of convenience. Are there any other stores that are close, but cheaper? Also, we are heading to VB for the first time, is there a grocery store on the way to VB?

Yes I assume you are going to the Goodings in Crossroads -right?

If so - turn left (where you would go straight across to Crossroad) - shortly you will see a Winnie-Dixie.

if you turn right (where you would go straight across to Crossroad)- stay on this road a good time - right before it stop (it will hit 192) there is a Publix on the left. If you miss this turn - don't worry - just turn left where it hits US192 - about 2 miles down there is a Super Walmart on the right.

While you are at Winn Dixie, get one of their discount cards.. It saved me about 10.00 on 40.00 worth of groceries on our last trip.. well worth it. And they sent me a couple of 5.00 off coupons in the mail!

I always shop at the Winne Dixie. I have never seen the insides of Goodings.

I should have gotten one of those Discount Cards, it would have saved me a few bucks my last trip, but since we don't have them here in NY, I decided to skip it.

The Winne Dixie is a nice new store too. I have never seen it crowded. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen it just has never happened while I have been there.

There is a brand new PUBLIX on US 1 about 2 miles before Vero. You will see it on the right side just before you make the left on 510.

VB Yes the Publix on US1 is a great place to stop. There is also a liquor store and a good place for Chinese takeout next to it. Very reasonable and downright cheap for lunch specials.

Also if you want fresh OJ and Citrus, Hale Groves is a great place to stop on US1 in Wabasso.
