grocery stores near disney...

I will be staying at All Star Movies this spring and would like to get some groceries for my room for breakfast and snacks and expecially milk for my toddler......is there a grocery store that I can get to close by??....I will not have a car and will need to take a taxi, so hopefully there is a store close enough that it won't cost a fortune for the fare.

There are many i don't know the name of the ones close but just tell the cab driver and he will take u to one, if you are using a town car or limo they make a grocery stop for you

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I just mapped out a few grocery stores from the All Star Music Resort and it looks like the closest grocery store to that resort is "Goodings" which shows approx. 2 miles away but it also looks more expensive than the next closest grocery store which is "WinnDixie" which is approx. 4 miles away. For the prices I am just going by what I saw listed on the allearsnet.com website.

We really like the WinDixie store for decent prices and good selection. Very easy to ge to from dt disney. Turn left coming out dt disney intersection and go a couple stop lights. Krispy Kremes available here too.

Goodings is across the street from dt disney, but prices are higher and it is a pain to get to store because its a busy shopping center.

There is a Publix on 192 and International Dr S (536). Across the street is a Walgreen's too.
Take Osceola Pkwy (heading away from DAK) to International S and make a right. Publix is just up the street on your left.

How are you getting from the airport to All-stars? It is $5 CHEAPER for our family to go with Tiffany Town Car as opposed to Mears Shuttle. Tiffany also gives you a free GROCERY STOP! We always ask for "LARRY" and we stop at "Pick-n-save"(great prices!) Tiffany will also get you to your resort faster than Mears and much more comfortably.
