Grocery Store near WDW

We are headed to WDW in late September for a week. We are driving for the first time. Usually we order from Garden Grocer but since we are driving we want to grocery shop there for items for the room. What is the best place that has decent prices and isn't too far from the resort? We are staying at POR, but arriving very early and plan to hit Typhoon Lagoon while we wait on our room. Plan to stop at grocery from there en route to POR.

I wouldn't recommend Goodings. It's gone downhill. I'd go to Publix instead.

If you are driving down the toll road and turning south, there is a Publix shortly after you get off the toll road heading to WDW. It's pretty convenient.

Here are a couple of possibilities:

There is a Winn Dixie on 535 about 3/4 of a mile north of I-4. (Avoid Goodings)

There is a Publix on Vineland Ave near the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets.

There is a Walmart super center south on 535 near W Osceola Parkway.

There is another Publix a bit further south on 535 near the intersection with 192.

Im not good with directions, but when my Familg stayed in OKW we would shop at a publix close by. I know it was close to one of the main property gates on the Epcot side of property

Awesome info. I had heard bad things about Goodings before and will avoid! We plan to bring pantry items with us but will need milk, yogurt, wine etc. Thanks all!

Try to also avoid Winn Dixie.
The PUBLIX on Vineland close to the Premium Outlet Mall is a good choice. They also sell pool toys, souvenirs, and a lot of single serve products like cereal which comes in handy rather than buying a whole big box.
Goodings is overpriced and the Walmart at the corner of Polynesian Isle and 535 will be a total zoo.

Super Walmart on Turkey Lake Rd is the closest Walmet store to POR. take the Palm Parkway route which turns into Turkey Lake Rd.
They have a great Disney gift section too that is much cheaper than Disney. There is also a ABC alcohol store right next to Walmart that you can get wine at.
