Grocery Store near WDW or on way down I-75?

We will be checking in to the Poly on Sept 9th- a Sunday about 5:00. We are driving from GA and I really need to go to the grocery store for cold items that day- Do you think it's better to just go before we even get to WDW? I've heard there is a Publix on the way in (anything else?). We'll have a cooler in the car and I could get more ice if need be.

I'm really thinking that once we get to the Poly and checked in, I really don't want to have to leave again!

We'll be coming down I-75- is there a better place to stop maybe an hour away or so? I really don't want to deal with a huge line at the store if they are really crowded near WDW.

Sorry, I was on vacation!

Coming down I75, you will get to Ocala which is about an hour and a half from Disney World. There's plenty there. Exit 350 has just about everything you need, fast food, Cracker Barrel, gas stations, etc. There's got to be a grocery store there. After Ocala, you'll be at the turnpike in about a half hour and then at Disney World in about an hour.

If you want to wait until you are actually there and are taking the 429 way in from the Turnpike (which you should), once you get onto Disney Property, you'll be at Coronado Springs. At that light, make a left and take that road (Buena Vista Drive) down to Osceola Parkway. You'll go by Blizzard Beach on your left. As you get near to All Stars (and the big McDonald's), take Osceola Parkway east. Follow that off Disney World property. You will go over I4 and you'll see the big Gaylord Palms on your right. Just past the Gaylord Palms, make a right onto International Drive South. There will be a Publix on your left down at the intersection with Highway 192.
