Grocery store near Vero?

Are there any grocery stores near Vero or should I do a grocery order through DVC? We have a 4 night stay booked for May. We thought about doing breakfast and lunch in the room and dining out in the even. This is our first time to Vero Beach.

There's a very nice Publix close by .. forget the route, but it's before you cross over to the barrier island to the resort. There's also a Walmart on the same road, further north from Publix. I'm sure others will have the correct route, but no need to do a grocery order. Be sure and stop at Hale's Citrus for some fabulous orange juice... same road that escapes me now...

The Highway is Rt. 1 and when you get to Vero ask the front desk for a map of the surrounding areas, it has Hales, and the other stores numbered on an easy to read map.

There's a Publix on US 1. Take the bridge just North of the resort(510) to US 1 and head North.

I'll probably see you at the grocery store. It's my second home.

WalMart is further up US 1.
