Grocery stop

We arrived at OKW late last night (11pm). We used <a href="http://www.fltours.com">FLTours</a> from MCO and they stopped at Kash-N-Karry for our grocery stop. It is a just-opened store located Exit 12 on the Greeneway (Route 417- tollway).

Nice selection and reasonable prices. FLTours driver gave us their discount card to use, which saved a few extra $$ for the stop.

Check-in was easy. We had asked for non-smoking, upper floor and got building 31, 2nd floor (non-smoking). Building 31 is close to the Turtle Pond bus stop and is a 5 min walk to HH. View is of golf course and a nice pond. Across the street is the Turtle Pond tennis court. Very quiet area.

Room is great, with new furniture- but no new appliances yet.

Weather today was about 70- will cool off over the weekend. MK was empty today. No wait for anything. They are expecting 20,000 runners for the Marathon on Sunday!

Good news Doc...have a great time! I think that was the grocery stop we were going to do when we came down for DISCon but there had been a very bad accident on the highway so they were told to avoid that road. So we hit Albertsons which was fine.

I am so jealous - OKW is my favorite! - And 70's - here in MA we have a lot of snow on the ground and it as a balmy 24 degrees ENJOY YOUR TRIP!

We will be using FLTours on the 22nd of this month, and only booked because of the rave reviews here on the DIS.

That was nice of them to let you use their store card, too. I hope we get a driver just as nice!

I'm hoping the weather will warm up before we get there, but it isn't looking too promising. Thank goodness for the roomy condos, so we can just relax on non-park days if it's not nice out!
