I'm thinking of utilizing this for the first time in two weeks. I know about Garden Grocer. What other services are there, and are they pretty much comparable? Thanks for your time.

Although I haven't used them yet, wegoshop.com seems like a good deal. I plan to use them next month. You make your list, you can request a specific grocery store, and depending the order total, you pay them a set price. It will save my family more money going this route as opposed to garden grocer. I also have gone to Publix.com and you can look at their flyer for the week and check what's on sale.

I agree. I haven't used either one yet (but have seen reviews of both over the years) and think that wegoshop is the cheaper way to go. I priced out a few breakfast/lunch things for the week (<$100) with garden grocer and thought that the grocery store prices of Wego would be cheaper then the $12 difference in the delivery fee between the two.

I have used wegoshop several times. I can not speak highly enough about them. What I like is, after you contact them and check availability, you can type up a list of items you like (brand and size) and you can choose what store you want them to shop at. They will use coupons and BO-GO if they can. if they can not find the exact item you request they will contact you and ask if they can substitute. Your bill is the exact amount spent at grocery store plus a delivery/service fee.

i highly recommend their service.

We have used GG since 2008 and LOVE THEM!! We prefer GG to WGS because we don't want to have to be there to pay and we can't pre-pay. Also, WGS charges a ridiculous amount of money to use your credit card to pay.

I was going to post this after our trip in October but never got over the depression of the vaca being over...since we are 89 days out of our next trip (thank you SO much wonderful Sister), I feel better...:cool2: We used GG a couple of years ago and loved them. Since then we have done the shopping via rental car. We used GG again in October and they were awful. They were late with their delivery and we were missing two bags. When I called about it, the woman argued with me and said they must have been held at the front desk. When I told her I had already asked them, she cut me off and said they must be wrong. I checked with bell again and called her back. Guess what??? The driver forgot the bags. SO...we finally got all of our stuff...the next day at 4pm! Oh - and the grapes were rotten and the cheese moldy...not making any of it up...they were awful. But-we still had a great trip...

We have used Wego on multiple trips and never had a let down. They are freindly, keep you informed of any changes, and most importantly deliver on time. I would not hesitate to use them.

I just placed a small GG order today ...arriving to OKW on Friday. I will still pick up a few things at the store at OKW...because a few items were actually cheaper when I looked on the DVC site. Usually we fly in then use a car service to get to the resort. We always do a grocery stop at Publix on the way...however this go round we are trying ME for the first time. I like the ease of the website on the GG site...

I've used GG once and am using it again soon. They were very easy to use and deliver promptly.
If you purchase a lot of stuff WGS might end up cheaper, but we only get limited items that we can't haul from home (drinks, fruit, frozen stuffs, etc.). So we don't spend too much $ but still save us a bit of $ for bfast, a couple meals, and some snacks.

Thanks for all of the opinions! I ended up ordering from Garden Grocer this time (basically because I'm lazy and didn't want to type out my list!). So far, so good. So we'll see how the accuracy of the order and on-time delivery goes.

We used wegoshop in August and were very happy. We had a fairly large order since there were 8 of us staying for 10 nights. The woman we dealt with called me and went over our order while she had the Publix flyer in front of her and suggested substitutions based on sale prices! She really went above and beyond to save us money. When they were out of the bagels we wanted, she called from the grocery store to ask what we would like instead of just skipping it altogether. Excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.
