we're taking out first DVC trip this september so I'm not sure how to handle food yet. our flight gets in at 930am, so we know SSR probably won't have our room ready when we arrive in the morning. we are definitely taking a car from the airport instead of using DME. since we are arriving so early, we have time to take advantage of the complimentary grocery stop with the car service, but concerned about what will happen to our food if we arrive and our room is not ready. can Bell Services keep our perishables cold for us and then bring it up to our room with our luggage when our room is ready? or should we just have grocery delivery later in the day and skip the grocery stop. I know we will be buying beer, so I believe we have to be available for a grocery delivery with alcohol, which would be a bit of an inconvenience in terms of scheduling since we have a full day including 7:15 Hoop ADRs for our first day.
if bell services can't hold our groceries at check in, has anyone had any experiences calling the resort directly upon flight arrival to get a sense of whether they might actually be able to check in? I was thinking we could schedule the grocery stop with the car service booking, and then bail if we know we probably won't be able to check in (and then just schedule a grocery delivery for the next day when i know we will be in the room).
not sure what is the best thing to do in this case
