Groceries in Disneyland - Alternatives to Delivery

We are staying at DLH beginning next week and we will have a car. I would like to pick up water, yogurt, milk, etc. Which grocery stores are the most convenient to Disneyland?

I also read there is a Target nearby. Do they have a refrigerated food section with milk and yogurt?

Also, I looked into Albertsons pick up service where you order everything online and just pick it up and have it loaded up. Has anyone tried that?

There was a Vons grocery store two major streets up from hotel (on Katella).

Coming from DL, you can take Harbor to Chapman and then tun left. It was a slightly older store but it was clean and safe at 10:00 PM when I went. It is in the middle of the normal neighborhoods. The store is as old as the surrounding neighborhood.

I would not rely on the Target and this is very close to the Target if you are driving.

I am a white male if it makes a difference.

We went to the Vons on Lincoln and found it to be fine. Vons in southern CA = Safeway wherever Safeways are, so you can use your rewards card from your home Safeway (if you have a home Safeway) and get the discounts.

Yes they do. Directions here.

In Sept 2008 we went to the Vons on Chapman in the evening and were scared to death. There are bars on the windows and a security guard at the door. I would NOT recommend it.

There is a Food 4 Less on West Katella which I think is open 24 hours.

I would love to get some Feedback on the Albertsons pick up service if anyone has done this.

Also, we would be available to sign for a delivery four a few hours that afternoon so we might consider that as well. If you do this, do they call your cell phone when they arrive? Will the groceries be delivered to your room or do you pick them up in the lobby?

We went to Food 4 less on Katella as well when we went in March of this year. It was just fine, clean, may have been 24 hours. I live in So cal, and the area was just fine. It was nice though cause it was a close drive to our hotel on Harbor blvd.

It's very easy to go to the Target on S. Harbour - or N of DL on Harbour as well.
I saw many options farther S down Harbour. And if you go far enough - you hit Newport Beach!!
