Many of us have upcoming trips to Diagon Alley. I would like to start this thread for everyone to post wait time updates to help everyone manage expectations. Please post your recent experiences and thanks in advance.

Here now early entry ioa. Waiting to get on hogwarts express. Doesn't run until studios opens. Will update with wait time for gringotts.

Oh boy, I hope they fix that soon or it's going to be 5 hours in line...

as I understand it, Studios opening time currently is 9am with EE at 8am, and IOA opens at 8 am with EE at 7am

does that mean that Hogwarts Express begins running at 8am?

Thanks. We'll be there Sunday. Are they still cutting off people from entering Daigon Alley (not the rides, just to visit it)?

We went to Universal this morning for EE. We were in line for Gringott's at 7:00 and were let through the gates at 7:30. We were 140 and 141 in line. We were off the ride at 8:05.
Last night we tried the single rider line. We were told it would be about a one hour wait. The posted time for the regular line was two hours. The regular line turned out to be a one hour and ten minute wait and the single rider line was a one hour and 20 minute wait. Also, the single rider line was very hot while the regular line had A/C.

For anyone that is there: please update some ideas of wait times for express pass for some of the longer line rides (Minions, Transformers, etc.). Thanks!

I think I read on another site (that can't be linked to here) that the first trains from Hogsmead to London are closer to 7:30 about the same time the open the gates to walk people back to the entrance to Diagon Alley for Early Entrance.

I read that on Orlando United too.

There are some other great iPhone/iPad apps for both Disney and Universal by VersaEdge software that don't require you to be in the parks to get times, etc. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/universal-orlando-magic-guide/id515790946?mt=8
The full paid versions are like $3.99 or you can download the free versions with advertising. The full version has maps, wait times, dining listings and park hours in one app. The free ones split it out into multiples apps. When you zoom in on the maps it shows wait times for the rides too or you can just see the times in a list. I like these better than the Disney app for sure. A paid sub to Touring Plans will also give you wait times without being in the park.

I'd like to follow this thread. My son and I will be there next week, planning Friday as our UO Day and we are staying at RPR so we will have EE. If they open at 8am for EE I know I've read to get there earlier than that to line up. What do you suggest? 7am? Earlier? First time to Universal, I'm a Disney girl and know the ins and outs of that, not so sure what we should be doing at Universal lol. We have 2 days at Universal then we are moving to AKL for 4 days at Disney.

Thanks!

An hour should be lots. Your IOA early morning doesn't need to be nearly that early.
