How much of a rollar coaster is this? The scariest I can do is Thunder Mountain. In fact, my speed is more Goofy's Barnstormer.

So, I'd like to go on this ride (I love Spiderman and The Simpsons).....but am fearful of a huge rollar coaster type.

Your thoughts?

It is kind of a combo of Spiderman and the Mummy. If you can handle those, you can definitely handle Gringotts.

Its not really a coaster. There is a small drop at the beginning and some acceleration throughout ( not all that fast).Tame compared to thunder mountain

:moped:Thank you for your answers. Now on that note, someone mentioned The Mummy. What is that like? Is that a real coaster too?

If you can handle those Disney rides, then Gringotts is a walk in the park.

Mummy is a coaster with dark ride elements to it. The coaster portion is in the dark.it isn't all that fast , but the darkness and some of the elements of the ride make it thrilling and scary to some

Gringotts is no where near the thrill of Mummy though. Go for it!

Gringotts is so tame. It's not rough at all.......you kinda swish your way around the track........very doable even for admitted ride chickens like my nephews girlfriend who loved it......

The Mummy is excellent. It's not a huge Hulk style coaster at all.........as been said it has dark parts and the coaster part is short and has no big drops. There is a slight drop where you get your picture taken, but it's not a big drop.....it's more fast than anything at that point.

The theming of The Mummy is amazing and try not to miss it......

How would you compare Mummy to Rock n Roller Coaster? I love RnR because it's so smooth, not rough like Spave Mountain.

I'd say they are pretty even. Except, Mummy doesn't have any loops or corkscrews. It's a very well themed ride

I only found RnR coaster smooth when I sat at the front, so always used to wait for it.

But I find the Mummy much smoother than Space Mountain from memory..........as to RnR I think Mummy is a tad smoother.....just quick.

Cool. Sounds like I may have to be a Mummy's boy when we make our first visit to Universal next February.
