Grills at Aulani

Is anyone currently at Aulani or does anyone know if the grills are working yet ? We arrive in 10 days and we are planning to grill some nights. Thanks for any updates.

Walked by the grill area today. Although the picnic tables are still there, the grills are enclosed by a barrier now.

Have fun at Aulani. It's a special place.

I hope they will be open for you, too, but frankly I doubt it. The barrier is nice looking wooden fencing. Doesn't look short term to me but I hope I'm wrong. I was grateful we hadn't stopped to shop on our way to the resort. My DH planned to grill at least once. On my early morning walk the first day, I saw the sign on the grills so my husband asked at the front desk on our way to the store later that morning. All they knew was that engineering told them the grills were down.

Thank you , still have six days to go before we get there. I called them and they have no idea when they will be up and running. Is there anything else not open ? I heard something about the adult pool being closed.

The slide that you can ride a one or two person float down closed on Thursday to have the bottom ten feet reslicked so that it goes faster. It will be closed at least a week according to multiple cast members. When they redid the regular slide it was closed for two and a half weeks, but they were reslicking the whole thing.

Yesterday around five thirty when we went to go use the regular slide we were told that it and the pool were closed until six. Only the hot tubs and the lazy river were open. We didnt stick around to see if they did reopen at six or not.

I'd be interested in knowing about the quiet pool too. I really hope it is open when we go in May.
