I've heard rumours about these! :cool1: Where are they in Epcot?! Also, any other drinks that you guys recommend? :confused3

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

There is a little kiosk on the water side of the path in France that sells these and the Grand Marnier ones (which I like better).

I like the plum-wine-and-tea slushies in China too, and the wines of the world (don't remember the official name for that one) tour is good too.

oooh! The Grand Marnier one sounds delish too :woohoo:
I'm definitely going to try the plum-wine-and-tea slushies!
Where/how do you get the wines of the world tour? Is that only during the food & wine festival or is it available all year?

This drink was featured on a Samantha Brown episode of Disney. I just had to have one after watching, it was delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again!

I know I'm in the minority... but I find all the booze-laced slushies to be way too sweet. And not enough booze.

My DH has been talking about the plum wine green tea slushie for the last 6 months!

It had about as much wine as in the small glass of straight plum wine you can also get in China. It's much larger than the Grey Goose slush, and not very sweet at all (my DH hates sweet beverages; he only drinks water, unsweetened tea, and alcohol).

I LOVE the grey goose slushie and never miss it. The gran marnier is good too. You can't go wrong with either.

Nope. Not restricted to the Festival.
You go into one of the wine shops in France, Germany, or Italy and pay your... I'm gonna say it was $21? Last time we did it... something like that.

Anyhow, they give you a 'pass' and your two samples from their country. We usually start in France but you can start at any of the three.
You then wander along the World Showcase and when you get to the next wine shop (in our case, Germany), you present your 'pass' and they'll serve you up two samples from their country.
Then you make your way to the third (Italy for us) and present your pass... etc., etc.

The samples are about a 3-oz pour, although sometimes they are decidedly more heavy-handed (usually when a younger male is pouring), but still it is not like a full 5-to-7-oz restaurant pour. Still, 6 for about $20 is not bad, and it's a fun way to compare and contrast various countries' wines.

The Grand Marnier Orange Slushie was wonderful. Reminded me of an orange dreamsicle with a kick...and I do mean kick....it was strong. LOVED IT!

I can't wait to try the Grey Goose slushie!!! I also love the champagne cocktail in France.

I know you have gotten a ton of replies but I just had to add my 2 cents...YUM! I would never had known about them without the dis, and like so many other things it was a true joy.
I am not even really a vodka drinker, but on a hot summer day, GLORIOUS!
